A general term for dance-centered works, performed to nagauta, tokiwazu, kiyomoto, and other music. Narrative dances may be called 'buyo-geki' (dance drama) while pure dances are 'su-odori.' Representative works include Musume Dojoji, Fuji Musume, and Kagami Jishi.
